Mwangaza Behavioral Health Residential Care (MWANGAZA BHRF) is a residential treatment facility that provides twenty-four-hour oversight together with activities designed to support resident independence, teach home management, and relapse prevention skills. The goal of this program is to provide a safe home environment and care where the resident receives services which stabilize or improve the individual’s behavioral health and to enable the resident to move to the least restrictive level of care as soon as practicable. The MWANGAZA BHRF team provides individualized oversight and treatment based on a developed plan of care. We also strive to promote personal growth through activities designed to develop essential self-care, independent living skills, adaptive daily living skills, social skills, including interpersonal and coping skills.
